8月13日メランデ・ピアノ四重奏団の今秋の来日が正式に取消されました。

来る10月17日より来日し11月7日まで日本各地で演奏会を予定していた、ダニエル・ゲーデ主宰メランデ・ピアノ四重奏団の来日が取りやめとなりました。コロナの影響で前半を担当する予定であったゲーデ弦楽四重奏団が来日を取り止めた後、後半の期間に東京都、名古屋市、京都市、習志野市、仙台市、大館市、町田市、羽村市そして飛鳥Ⅱ（横浜～長崎間）で演奏することになっていました。来日までほぼ2か月となった現在も日本・ドイツの往来は両国ともに禁止されていますし、ともに第2波に襲われています。このため今回の決定となりました。ご迷惑をおかけする主催者の皆様や、彼らの演奏を楽しみにお待ち頂いている日本各地の皆様に、ご理解とご協力をお願い申し上げます。

2021年秋には再度今年と同じメンバーで来日公演をするために、日程を調整中です。

Dear Friends and Sponsors,

it is with our deepest regrets to have to inform you today that we, the Gaede Quartet and Mellande Pianoquartet, will not be able to come to Japan this autumn to play for you. Due to the Corona crisis it currently has become impossible for us to obtain and apply for a visa.

The number of infected has started to rise again, both in Germany and in Japan and it is feared to become a second wave. We feel terribly sorry that this situation has eventually made the cancellation unavoidable.

It is now planned to postpone all of the concerts to next year. We strongly hope and pray that we can see you and make music for you again then!
